Clutha Central is a development to build new homes in Balclutha and is starting with four two-bedroom townhouses on John St, Balclutha.  Construction kicks off this year, aiming for a late 2026 finish. After these are completed, Clutha Central will continue with nine three-bedroom homes on Renfrew St.  A total of 13 new homes in Balclutha in a location central to services, hence Clutha Central.
